About Practice Groups

Conflict resolution practitioners encourage understanding and bridge boundaries. Yet many work alone, with few opportunities to share their questions, frustrations, and ideas with colleagues. ACR-GNY promotes learning and dialogue within the ADR community to provide more support. ACR-GNY series for Commercial/Employment Mediators and Family/Community Mediation Practice Groups are quarterly confidential meetings where mediators can come together to exchange puzzling moments and share honest feedback with one another.

Practice Groups are free for ACR-GNY members and open to nonmembers for $20. Scholarships are available. Registration is limited to ensure each attendee receives individualized attention and time to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversation.

ACR-GNY Interpersonal Conflict Resolution Multisession Practice Group

    Presented by Dr. Borislava Manojlovic

Introducing our first multisession practice group!

The Interpersonal Conflict Resolution Practice Group aims to equip participants with practical skills for resolving conflicts in everyday life and interpersonal relationships. Each session will introduce different conflict resolution topics, followed by hands-on exercises, simulations, and skill-building activities. By the end of the program, participants will have developed a personalized toolkit for managing conflicts more effectively in their everyday lives.

Registrants are expected to attend all five sessions. The registration price is inclusive of all sessions.

These practice group sessions are interactive and a safe space for questions and honest feedback; registration will be capped at 25 participants and sessions will not be recorded.
