Practice Group: Family & Community

NEW - ACR-GNY members attend for free!

ACR-GNY promotes learning and dialogue within the ADR community. This virtual Family & Community Mediation Practice Group has been meeting regularly since 2019 from 6:00 - 7:15pm on Zoom. The Practice Group is a confidential space where mediators can come together to share puzzling or challenging moments and give one another honest feedback. Practice Groups are now open to the public, and ACR-GNY members attend for free!

Facilitated by:

Melody Wang is the CEO of Wang Mediation, which she founded upon graduation from the University of Southern California, Gould school of Law with an MA in ADR. Melody is a matrimonial panel mediator for the Queens Supreme Court, as well as the NYC Family Court. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at ACR-GNY. Prior to moving to New York, Melody was an experienced civil and community mediator in Los Angeles, working closely with non-profits, small claim courts and the California federal court. 

Melody has lived in the U.S., Taiwan, China and Singapore, and she is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

This event is interactive and a safe space for questions and honest feedback; registration will be capped at 30 participants.
