On the first Thursday of every month ACR-GNY and the CUNY Dispute Resolution Consortium co-sponsor a breakfast event to promote education and dialogue to advance the field of dispute resolution.
Professor Ferda Paksoy will speak at the November 6th ROUNDTABLE breakfast. Long associated with issues of justice and mediation in
Turkey
, she is a lawyer, commercial mediator, educator and recently served as the key legal aid expert in a project supported by EU funds,
Technical Support for Better Access to Justice in
Turkey
. The project included training of attorneys participating in legal aid programs in mediation skills
.
