This discussion will consider Trump 2.0 and the future of the liberal international order:

  • What is the “liberal international order” and why does it matter?
  • What are some of the problems with liberal international order, prior to Trump’s election?
  • Is democracy under attack, globally and in the U.S.?
  • What does Trump’s election mean for conflict and security?
  • How will the Trump administration likely behave towards international human rights obligations?

The discussion will be moderated by ACR-GNY President-elect Nick Pozek.
