Practice Group: Commercial & Employment Mediators

Mediators work hard to encourage understanding and bridge boundaries. Yet many work alone, with few opportunities to share their questions, frustrations and ideas with colleagues.

ACR-GNY promotes learning and dialogue within the ADR community. To provide more support and opportunities, ACR-GNY is starting a new event series. We will host periodic practice groups for mediators; confidential spaces where they can come together to share puzzling moments and give each other honest feedback. 

We are launching Practice Groups! The groups will get together every 2-3 months, alternating between in-person and virtual meetings. 

Commercial and Employment mediators are invited to our first meeting. The meeting will be facilitated by Susan Salazar and hosted by Raff and Becker Law Firm. Susan Salazar is an experienced employment attorney, mediator, and a leader in the field. Ms. Salazar is on the SDNY Mediation Panel and has mentored new mediators in New York City Civil Court.

Cost: $10.00

Wine, cheese and other refreshments will be provided.

Pre-Registration is required. This event is exclusively for ACR-GNY members and will be capped at 20 participants.
