Come hear Dan Ettinger, Seeds of Peace External Relations Manager, speak on the organization’s innovative people to people peacemaking model.
Seeds of Peace
(www.seedsofpeace.org)
is dedicated to empowering young leaders from regions of conflict with the leadership skills required to advance reconciliation and coexistence. Today there are more than 4,000 Seeds of Peace leaders making a positive difference in the Middle East, South Asia, Cyprus, the Balkans and the United States.
Dan Ettinger has a twin interest in non-profit fundraising and leadership development. First working for Seeds of Peace in 2004 as a counselor at Seeds' International Camp, Dan began working full-time in the New York office in May 2008. Directly prior, he led the fundraising and marketing efforts of YouthCARE (Youth for Cultural Appreciation and Racial Equality), a youth development non-profit in Minneapolis, MN.
Dan was also the Assistant Director of YouthCARE's Camp Sunrise program, a summer leadership development program for Minneapolis and St. Paul youth from diverse backgrounds and cultures.Dan holds a B.A. in history and urban studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and recently completed a certificate program at Baruch College in nonprofit leadership development.
