Professional Bio
Chris Kane P.E. J.D. is a professional engineer, lawyer and mediator and based in Princeton, New Jersey. He has over 30 years of experience as a mediator participating in all methods of dispute resolution. Since 2009 Chris has been Owner and President of P3 Collaborative LLC which provides transaction advisory, conflict avoidance and collaborative dispute resolution on complex projects. He has been helping parties reach agreement in the engineering, environmental and construction industries for over 45 years including transit, resiliency, remediation, road, airport, energy, and water projects. Chris has successfully resolved hundreds of disputes through use of mediation, arbitration, advisory panels & structured negotiations. He also has extensive experience as a trainer and capacity builder and taught Mediation at William & Mary Law School and currently Teaches a Graduate Course in Negotiations and Conflict Resolution at Rutgers University Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. He has: served on the NJ Courts CDR Panel of Mediators; been on the American Arbitration Association panel of arbitrators/ mediators since 1994; is a Distinguished Neutral for International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution; and is a Certified Dispute Review Board Member, and Region 1 Director for Dispute Review Board Foundation.
