Ed Watt is currently the Principal of WattADR, an alternative dispute resolution practice. He is a member of several mediation and arbitration panels.

He then worked for Transport Workers Union and Amalgamated Transit Union Internationals.
In those varied roles, he has served on many boards and labor management committees as well as federal, state, local, and international bodies, including the USDOT Transit Advisory Committee for Safety TRACS, American Public Transportation Association APTA, Transportation Research Board TRB, the International Association of Public Transport UITP, and the International Labor Organization ILO. .
