Professional Bio
Lisa Renee Pomerantz has more than forty years of legal and dispute resolution experience. After graduating from Harvard University and Boston University Law School, Lisa clerked for a federal judge. Following a stint as a litigation attorney, she worked for fifteen years as a senior-level in-house counsel for NEC.
Since 2003, Lisa has had her own law and dispute resolution practice in Suffolk County, New York. She counsels and represents businesses, individuals and non-profits and assists them to resolve business and employment disputes amicably and cost-effectively through negotiation, mediation and arbitration. She serves as a commercial, consumer and employment mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, has mediated workplace conflicts for MWI, and has held a variety of leadership roles with the Association for Conflict Resolution, the New York State Dispute Resolution Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, and the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition. She also has provided on-line and live training for business and legal audiences and has taught at Touro and New York Law Schools.
