Professional Bio
Joycelyn McGeachy-Kuls is an attorney specializing in employment law and mediation. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and Howard University School of Law. As the principal attorney, Joycelyn McGeachy-Kuls has over 18 years of experience in the areas of litigation, employment law and mediation. Prior to establishing this practice, Ms. McGeachy-Kuls was a senior in-house counsel at a major investment bank where her practice focused on employment law, investigations, training and mediation. A former Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, Ms. McGeachy-Kuls litigated both misdemeanors and felonies gaining valuable experience as a negotiator and trial attorney. In her current practice, Ms. McGeachy-Kuls has counseled individuals, numerous business and not-for-profit entities on a variety of employment law matters. Ms. McGeachy-Kuls is a Harvard-trained mediator. She has completed ADR coursework at the Center for Mediation in Law, and ILR/Cornell. Ms. McGeachy-Kuls has also been appointed to the New York Supreme Court panel of commercial mediators.
Ms. McGeachy-Kuls lives in Harlem with her husband and 7-year-old son.
